How Music Me Works

Getting started with online music tuition is simple.

Here's  how we'll guide you from your first enquiry to your first lesson.

Your musical journey starts here ...

Music Me offers online one-to-one instrumental and theory lessons, delivered live via video call.

Lessons can focus on classical, modern, or mixed repertoire depending on the student’s interests and are personalised to suit:

  • Beginners learning from scratch
  • The development of core musical skills
  • Adults returning to music or learning for the first time
  • Students preparing for grade exams, auditions or performances

We believe that starting music lessons should feel exciting, not overwhelming.

Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to music after many years, or working towards exams and performances, Music Me aims to make the process simple and supportive from the very first enquiry.

01

Get in touch

Contact Music Me by email or phone to express your interest in lessons.

At this stage, there's no obligation to commit. It's simply an opportunity to find out more about the lessons available and ask any questions you may have.

02

Tell us about your goals

We'll arrange a discussion to learn more about you and what you'd like to achieve.

We may ask about:

  • Your musical experience
  • Your age and learning preferences
  • The instrument or subject you'd like to study
  • Whether you're learning for enjoyment, personal development or exams
  • Your availability for lessons

This helps us understand exactly what you're looking for and ensures we can provide the most suitable learning experience.

03

Find the right tutor

Based on your goals, experience and availability, we'll match you with a suitable tutor.

We believe that a positive tutor-student relationship is one of the most important parts of successful music learning. We aim to pair students with tutors who can support their individual needs, interests and ambitions.

04

Free initial chat

An informal meeting so you can get to know your tutor and discuss your musical interests in a relaxed and friendly environment.

What to expect:

  • A friendly introduction to your tutor
  • Assessment of your current ability
  • Discussion of goals and musical interests
  • A plan for future lessons

If you are happy to start your lessons, you will electronically sign the Music Me
contract and make payment for the first four lessons

No pressure, no jargon – just supportive learning from the start.
